Paulo Furtado, known solo as The Legendary Tigerman, says that sometimes to create something new is necessary to destroy the foundations of everything that was built or knew before. This desire to step out of his comfort zone gave birth to the journey of a man named MISFIT, who heads from Los Angeles to Death Valley with the intention of getting lost (or found) in the desert. In May of 2016, Paulo Furtado made this trip and, every day, wrote a new entry in the (false, or not so false) diary of this man. Entries that became songs directly influenced by the desert, the heat, the suffering and pleasure of the trip. After returning, he tried to define the sound of this record and found it returning to the desert in December for another twelve days between Rancho de La Luna, Joshua Tree Sallon and Pappy and Harriets. The successor of "True" is a turning point in the course of Paulo Furtado’s alter ego since, for the first time, he leaves the one man band format and counts on the participation of Paulo Segadães on drums and João Cabrita on the baritone saxophone , to which is added the contribution of Filipe Rocha’s bass.
