Inspired by the silence and surrounded by keys, samplers, strings, voices and loop stations, Surma takes us to uncertain places with unknown landscapes. The debut album "Antwerpen", released at the end of 2017 appeared on most of the year's best charts, ran ten countries on tour and was nominated the best European independent record of the year by the European Association of Independent Publishers, alongside names such as The XX, Ibeyi, King Krule, or Fever Ray. Sonorities ranging from jazz to post-rock, from electronics to noise in a trip we are invited to join in August at the Vodafone Paredes de Coura’s stage.
