Vodafone Paredes de Coura will also be the scene of strong political visions, which arrive at the hands of Shame. Embracing post-punk from South London, the quintet met at the school and formed the band in 2014, still during adolescence. Concerts at a pub in Brixton led to an appearance at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris in 2016, and later that year the band released the first single. In 2017, songs such as "Tasteless", "Concret" and "Visa Vulture" followed, commenting on the position of Prime Minister Theresa May on immigration. Also last year, they recorded the debut album, "Songs of Praise", released earlier this year. A new work that the band is ready to present at the 26th edition of Vodafone Paredes de Coura.
