Australian producer Jordan Alexander was inspired by the term used to ironically criticize the incorrect use of skateboarding – when it is used as an accessory, the top of the skateboard is usually pressed against the clothing – to, in a way, demonstrate the free and relaxed nature that he uses in his productions. Mall Grab was born in Newcastle and from an early age he discovered his passion for music, initially for his parents' rock record collection and later for electronics and dance music.
