The Frankfurt producer and DJ grew up surrounded by hip-hop and punk rock until he finally succumbed to electronica in the late 1990s. If most of his musical work was being released under a wide variety of pseudonyms and collaborative projects (including Tuff City Kids with Gerd Janson, Hotel Lauer or the deep house duo Arto Mwambe) with the release of the second LP "Borndom" the DJ was firmly recognized as Lauer. In an exemplary work of different lines of synthesizer, the love of house is combined with the disco music in a sonority that does not hide the affection for the electropop music of the 80 and 90. Lauer's work exhales an increasing maturity to see, hear, feel, and dance at the River Beach of Taboão.
