Los Angeles League of Musicians, or LA LOM - as they are better known - are a band from Los Angeles made up of Zac Sokolow, Jake Faulkner and Nicholas Baker. Formed in 2021, they have expanded their repertoire mixing genres and cultures from Los Angeles, from 50s and 60s ballads to Mexican boleros, creating a unique sound with country influences from Bakersfield. Zac Sokolow, the son of a bluegrass musician, and Jake Faulkner, who comes from an artistic family, met at the age of 16 and collaborated in various bands before forming LA LOM. Nicholas Baker, with Latin musical roots, studied percussion with Roberto Miranda. The band quickly gained notoriety, attracting the attention of artists such as Beck and Vampire Weekend.
