JJungle is a duo originally from London whose music is described as an up-to-date 1970s funk and soul atmosphere. Led by two childhood friends, Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland (or J and T), the band emerged in 2013, and that same year introduced the first energetic and hypnotizing singles, "Platoon" and "The Heat." Since that debut that Jungle are acclaimed by the critics. Alongside names like Banks, Sampha and Chance the Rapper the British were nominated for the BBC Sound Award of 2014. Jungle's style is described as "midtempo 1970s-style funk" and their music is a complex mix where we find tropical percussion, wildlife noises, falsetto screams and psychedelic compositions.

In the frantic live shows, the pair turns into an elaborate puzzle of seven pieces, since they refuse to reduce their performances to something that can be reproduced simply by the use of a computer. The passage for the 26th edition of Vodafone Paredes de Coura marks the return of Jungle to the stages. The duo, who released the debut album in 2015 "Jungle," has yet to confirm a second album, but has already presented a new single, "House In LA."
