Canadian Andy Shauf taught himself guitar, drums, piano and any other instrument he came across. The songs he wrote and recorded in the basement of his parents' house eventually became "Darker Days" (2009), followed by "Bearer of Bad News", the record with sophisticated folk and pop, released in 2012, reissued in 2015, and well received by critics. The following work followed a similar process in its construction with Shauf preferring to record each instrument and arrangement himself. The result is "The Party," a detailed pop pearl to see live at Taboão’s Fluvial Beach.
