After capturing Foxygen’s heart, Alex Cameron continues to catch the attention of indie fans. After starting his career alongside his class mates in 2006, with Seekae, a band heavily influenced by electronica, it was in 2013 that Cameron decided to embark in a solo career. “Jumping the Shark” is the début album that signals a shift in a career as a “failed artist”, as he proclaimed himself to be. The record, reissued in 2016 by the Secretly Canadian label, allowed the Australian to reach a new audience.
